About the Journal

The Journal of Natural Resources and Farming is an open access, multidisciplinary scientific journal dedicated to the promotion of basic and applied research in the biological, environmental, forestry, agricultural, and veterinary sciences, with a particular focus on the study and sustainable management of natural resources.

Our journal welcomes a wide range of research, including exploratory studies, trials, and reports, including negative results. We recognize the scientific rigor and valuable contribution to the advancement of knowledge.

We recognize that progress in the natural and applied sciences is enhanced by a diverse range of perspectives and approaches, including those that challenge, refute, or extend current knowledge.

Topics of interest:

• Biological Sciences: Research focused on the analysis of biodiversity, evolution, physiology and ecology. This category also includes the study of biological and ecological patterns that contribute to the conservation of ecosystems.
• Environmental Sciences: This section focuses on integrated studies on climate change, ecosystem services, and natural resources, with a particular emphasis on water resources. Additionally, it delves into the assessment of the environmental impact of intervention practices on ecosystems and their restoration.
• Agroforestry Sciences: Research on sustainable practices in agriculture, livestock, terrestrial and aquatic animal production and forest sciences, including advances in technologies that optimize the use of natural resources.
• Veterinary Sciences: Studies on animal health, production and welfare, particularly those that analyze human-animal interactions and animal husbandry practices in contexts that directly affect sustainability and environmental health.
